College Hills Elementary's Celebration of Learning Program
is designed for students in Kindergarten through 4th grade.
The program is designed to benefit students through:
~ one-on-one instruction
~ small group instruction
~ extra help within the classroom
~ time spent with a special friend and mentor
The Celebration of Learning program uses trained volunteers to provide a supportive environment which encourages mastery of the academic skills presented by the classroom teacher. There is a current need for volunteers to provide assistance in a variety of areas.

Volunteers may give a minimum of 30 minutes of their time one day a week (follows the Texas A&M Fall and Spring semester calendar and excludes final exam days). Longer periods can be arranged for those who can give more time. Tutoring sessions are scheduled throughout the school day, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. First time volunteers must attend a brief orientation meeting prior to working with students. Orientations are scheduled at the time of the first tutoring session.
