The College Station Independent School District provides several summer school opportunities. Each summer school serves a unique purpose.
During the month of June, Enrichment Summer School provides enrichment opportunities for elementary school students through a variety of courses. Core content area courses are offered at the highschool during the first part of the summer.
Bilingual/ESL Summer School, offered the month of June, serves qualified English language learners who are entering kindergarten or 1st grade the following fall.
Head Start Summer School is provided for a limited number of Head Start students who will be entering kindergarten the following fall.
ARI/AMI Summer School serves students striving to meet guidelines set forth through the Student Success Initiative.
Jump Start, for students entering K-9, consists of 9 days of instruction before the beginning of school and students must be nominated and selected to attend. CSISD begins sending out summer school information after Spring Break during the second semester of each school year.
