I look forward to working with our great group of Mustangs. This is my twentieth year of teaching seventh grade English in College Station. Seventh graders are a challenging group, always changing and never dull. Most of all, seventh graders are fun! I think I have the best job in the world!
This year we will explore the writing process, not only to prepare for the TAKS Writing Test, but because writing requires higher order thinking skills. When we improve our writing, we in turn improve our reading skills. We will also study short stories, drama, novels, comma usuage, vocabulary, spelling, research, and Greek and Roman mythology.
