Print Resources in the AMCHS Library:

1)  Search for books for recreational reading then find the books on the library shelves.

2)  Search for books for research then find the books on the library shelves.

Web Resources provided by the AMCHS Library:

1) On campus, no passwords are necessary.
--To use off-campus, obtain the passwords from the library staff.
--All databases from the same service share the same password. For instance, all Gale databases share the Gale password. The same is true for Ebsco and Britannica.



3)  Once the database opens, smart students create a personal account where they can save search results for their projects. Watch a 12-minute video about using the databases with personal accounts:

4)  All information (text, image, video, or sound) that you use from a source must be cited. The subscription databases provide the citation in MLA 7 format but you may need to modify it to meet your teacher's requirements.
